Swedish Society for Anthropology and Geography launches a new online, open access anthropological journal. In the launching issue, we gather original papers by leading anthropologists together with reports from the Swedish anthropological community. The journal kritisk etnografi – Swedish Journal of Anthropology aims to foster engaged and responsible scholarship by combining global scope, local relevance and public engagement.
On Wednesday 15 August 2018 at 19.00 in Mezzaninen (just outside Aula Magna), Stockholm University, SSAG invites to a launching reception for the new journal. Snacks and drinks will be available. SSAG’s President Thomas Borén will introduce. Editors-in-chief Sten Hagberg and Jörgen Hellman will present kritisk etnografi – Swedish Journal of Anthropology, together with two
of the authors of the launching issue: Thomas Hylland Eriksen and Ulf Hannerz.
